  2. Articles Definite articles = the el los la las Indefinite articles = a, an some un unos una unas

  3. Plural Nouns • If a noun ends in a vowel add “s” • If a noun ends in a consonant add “es” • If it ends in a Z change the “z” to a “c” and add “es” El vestido los vestidos Un camisón Unos camisones Un lápiz Unos lápices

  4. Adjectives that end in “o” • Add “s” to describe plural masculine nouns. • Ex. chico feo  chicos feos • Change “o” to “a” for feminine nouns & add “s” to make it plural. • Ex. chica fea  chicas feas

  5. Adjectives that end in “e” • It’s the same for both masculine and feminine nouns. • Ex. chico inteligente chica inteligente • Add “s” to make them plural. • Ex. chicos inteligentes chicas inteligentes

  6. Adjectives that end in consonants • It’s the same for both masculine and feminine nouns. • Ex. el zapato azul la falda azul • Add “es” to make them plural • Ex. los zapatos azules las faldas azules

  7. Adjectives that end in “ador” • Add “es” to make masculine nouns plural • Ex chico trabajador chicos trabajadores • Add “a” to describe feminine nouns • Ex. chica trabajadora • Add “s” to describe plural feminine nouns • Ex. chicas trabajadoras

  8. Adjective / Noun Agreement • Adjectives describe people, places, things • Adjectives go after your noun • - el chico feo ves agree with gender of noun • el chico feo (m,s) la chica fea(f,s) • Adjectives agree with the # of nouns • -los chicos feos (m, p) las chicas feas (f,p) noun adjective
