The WDVA offers vital services to vulnerable adults, specifically homeless and incarcerated veterans, and those facing mental health challenges. Funded primarily through federal grants (48%), county contracts (56%), and interagency contracts (8%), programs address basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing, as well as housing and employment support. Key initiatives include the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Project, transitional housing, and fiduciary services. Our goal is to reinvest in programs that support individuals in overcoming trauma and co-occurring disorders, ensuring they regain stability and independence.
