MOIT FICC Overview of Viet Nam-Israel relation • Fine political & diplomatic relationship • Bilateral trade exchange: • 2011: USD 375,4 million (exports of VN: $ 171,8 million, imports of VN: $ 203,6 million), increased 69% compared to 2010. • 9months/2012: total trade volume is $ 320,8 million (exports of Viet Nam: $ 217,7 million, imports of Viet Nam: $ 103,1 million), increased 51% compared to the same period of 2011.

MOIT FICC Exporting and importing goods • The key items exported from Viet Nam to Israel include: aquatic products, cashewnut, coffee, textile and garments, footwear, etc. • The key items imported from Israel to Viet Nam include: fertilizer of all kinds, computer, electronic products and apparels, machineries, equipments, other spare parts, etc.

  4. MOIT FICC • Israel: 4th largest export market of Viet Nam within the Middle East Region. • Reasons for limited trade volume: • lack of information on markets and business partners • the difficulties in exchanging visits by businessmen from both countries
