BENNY BULLY Meet Benny Bully. He is so mean and grouchy that he doesn’t even like himself ! He pushes boys and girls out of line. He threatens kids if they do not do what he tells them to do. Benny sometimes hits kids for no reason or starts fights. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
SNEAKY SAMANTHA See these hands ? They belong to SAMANTHA. They are filled with candy that she took from the Kara’s book bag. Vanessa is always taking things that don’t belong to her. That’s called stealing. ATTRACT or REPEL ?
NAME-CALLING NANCY See the girl pointing ? That’s Nancy. She’s always teasing other people , laughing at them, putting them down or calling them names. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
CARING CARL Carl has lots of friends. He really cares about people. Like in this picture. This little boy fell during recess and Carl is carrying him back to class. Carl is always willing to do what he can to help ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
TERRY TATTLETALE Terry Tattletale is watching you ! She is hoping you will break a rule so she can tell the teacher. You know the type. She says things like “Tommy is out of his seat.” or Tamika cut in line.” She is so busy watching others that she can’t take care of her own business. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
FRIENDLY FRANCINE Francine makes you feel welcome. She gives you a great big smile whenever she sees you. You know that she is glad to see you and you feel good when you’re around her. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
BOSSY BRAD Brad thinks it’s fun to have a friend that he can boss around. He looks for friends who will only play what he wants to play and who will follow his rules. Brad cries and when he doesn’t get his way. Brad is unhappy most of the time. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
INTERESTED IRENE Interested Irene always listens with such interest that you know she really wants to hear whatever you have to say. You feel like you are important when you talk to Irene. She never interrupts you when you are talking. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
SHY SHARON Sharon is so shy that she does not speak to anyone. She doesn’t even like to look at other people. Know one can really get to know what she is like because she doesn’t let people get to know her. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
GRETCHEN GOODSPORT Gretchen is a great gal to have on your team. She helps keep the spirit high. She congratulates the other team if they win. She doesn’t get mad when her team loses. If you are not very good at a game, she compliments your efforts and makes you feel like you can do it. ATTRACTOR REPEL ?
SILLY BILLY Silly Billy feels that he always needs to make people laugh. He makes faces and says silly things. Trouble is that he does it too much and is very annoying. He always has to be the center of attention. People don’t think that’s funny. Attract or Repel ?
COMPLIMENTING CARY See the girl taking on the phone ? That’s Cary. She’s calling a class-mate to congratulate her on winning the Spelling Bee. She likes to compliment people and make them feel good about themselves. She cares about how other people feel. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
MESSY MORTON The boy to the left is Morton . He’s a really nice person but the problem is that he doesn’t take care of himself. He doesn’t bathe, comb his hair or brush his teeth so he smells really bad. The other children really don’t want to sit next to him or be around him. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
ANGRY AMANDA Amanda has a temper ! When she gets angry she doesn’t stop to calm down, but does mean things to her classmates, like sticking out her tongue or other mean gestures. ATTRACT OR REPEL ?
