  4. Storage projects data • Main findings: • more than 30 bcm additional working gas capacity before 2015 • more than +40% with respect to present capacity • more than 9 bn€ capex (about 40% for cushion gas) GSE - Gas Storage Europe

  5. Storage projects data • Main findings: • type of access: • 65% as non regulated (nTPA + “exemption”) • 35% regulated • more than 70% of new capacity deriving from new storage facilities • more than 60% of new capacity in countries where 80% of European gas demand GSE - Gas Storage Europe

Storage projects data • Main findings: • Three digits percentage increases in: • Spain: substantial increase in gas demand and total dependency on imports • UK: shift in supply patterns, trading opportunities • Bulgaria: increasing role for Russian transit gas • Austria: commercial developments for bordering countries (e.g. Germany) GSE - Gas Storage Europe
