MICE Running Schedule and Current Issues - Summer 2011

The MICE run schedule for Summer 2011 outlines an operational period from 1 PM to 9 PM, allowing up to 2 V.ms of beam loss for 8 hours a day during user runs. Shorter periods may allow for 4 V.ms, while extended run times should maintain under 2 V.ms, subject to discussion with ISIS. Current issues include temperamental dipole systems, temperature monitoring requirements, potential BPM misconnection, and persistent PPS issues primarily affecting the inner and outer doors.
