Burdened but Blessed: Finding Comfort and Rest in God

In times of tribulation and heaviness, God offers us solace and relief. Through Ruth 2:13, II Corinthians 1:4, and other verses, we learn to cast our burdens upon the Lord for sustenance and strength. Jesus calls us to Him, promising rest and gentle guidance for our weary souls. As we receive comfort from God, we are equipped to comfort others in their troubles. Let go of your burdens and experience the lightness of God's grace.

  2. Ruth 2:13 Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

  3. II Cor. 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

  4. Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
