  7. Jesus not back yet • Rev16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. • Garments with a purpose

  8. Safely Through • John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

  9. The Covering • Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, • Psalm 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; • Psalm 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

  11. They have nocovering • Rev. 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Christ claims: “If you need Health security and insurance you must follow what we say” The beast claims: • If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt give ear to his commandments, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.   15. The Controversy All financial security is in Christ. Christ claims: Rev 13:17 …that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. The beast: • Hag. 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

  17. Agency for life and truth • Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

The Controversy Christ claims: Rev 13:15 “as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” The beast claims: All life security is in Christ. • Is 43:20, I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. • John 4 :11, “He would have given thee living water.”

  24. The Power Struggle Christ: Rev 13:2 The beast…the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. The beast: • Mat 28:18 Jesus spake saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

  25. The Controversy Christ : Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? The beast : • Éxo 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

  26. The Controversy True Christians declare: Rev 16:10 “They gnawed their tongues because of the pain…” The beast claims: • Éxo 15:11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? All true power is in, and to Christ.

  31. The Controversy Christ : Apo 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six, (666) The beast: Unparalleled Claim Only the Creator can make such a declaration. • Job 38:22, 23 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

  32. Unparalelled • Apo 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. • Only can be said by He who said, “It is finished.”

  33. What is this protective garment? • Apo 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

  34. What does it mean to “die in the Lord?” • Plp1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. (Surety of Christ)

  35. Identity the blessed • Appears in the verse prior to verse 13. • They are identified so that we may know what it means to “live in the Lord” for only those who live in the Lord can “die in the Lord.”

  36. Revelation 14:12 • Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. • They will reveal in their lives just what the Christian world currently teaches are opposed to each other.

  37. Revelation 14:12 • Concerning these saints it will be said as it was said of faithful Israel : • Núm 23:21-23 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. . According to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, “What hath God wrought!”

  38. Righteousness by Faith. • Psalm 119:172 “All thy commandments are righteousness.” • Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. • God Forbid
