Who We Train Partner Organizations: consolidated training for more than 90 federal law enforcement agencies: Including CBP, USBP, ICE, BOP, USMS, USSS, TSA, NCIS, IRS, AFOSI, USCP, USPP, NPS, USFS, TVA, ATFE, most OIGs, FPS, USCG… Other key customers: state, local, rural, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies Students trained FY 2012: 69,587 Over a million officers and agents trained since 1970
  4. 1927-1970 – Treasury Law Enforcement Officers Training School 1970 – Consolidated Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (CFLETC) Bureau of the Department of the Treasury Located in Beltsville, MD, and Washington, DC 1975 – Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Base Closings led to establishment of FLETC facility at former Glynco Naval Air Station near Brunswick, GA. 2003 – FLETC transferred from the Department of the Treasury to the newly created Department of Homeland Security Evolution of the FLETC

  9. 137 classrooms, 104 breakout rooms, 16 interview rooms, 7 mock trial courtrooms, 38 computer labs, 2 language labs, 1 auditorium, and 1 TV studio with satellite uplink capability Over 775 motor vehicles and 30 maritime training vessels Over 350 acres of driving ranges, including a Combined Skills Range, 3 emergency response ranges, 6 non-emergency response ranges, 4 skid pans, a 4-wheel drive off-road range, and a vehicle maintenance garage A Day at FLETC Glynco

Over 2,100 dormitory rooms, supplemented by ≈ 1,250 motel rooms under contract 4,700 student meals served, 1,300 student uniform items issued, 4,140 articles of PT clothing issued, 4,250 pounds of laundry washed, inventory of over 26,000 training equipment articles maintained, 3,200 radio calls managed and monitored, and 150 student examinations processed A Day at FLETC Glynco

  13. Current Sustainability Efforts EO 13514 (2009) Fleet Fuel – Decreased total fuel use by 31.6% from FY05. Fleet Fuel – Increased alternative fuel use by 107% from FY05. Green Buildings – 9 buildings designed and constructed to meet Green Building principles since 2010. Water Consumption – 22.8% use reduction from 2007. Energy Consumption – 8.9% use reduction from 2003.
