  1. KRAMER GUITARS: The Legend Lives On! Kramer Guitars was more than just a guitar company; it was an absolute influence on the rock industry and rock guitar. Kramer had the very best players as endorsees, such as Edward Van Halen, Richie Sambora, Mick Mars, Vivian Campbell and countless other high-profile guitarists in the era when technique and speed demanded high performance guitars

  2. KRAMER GUITARS THE BEGINNING The company was founded in the late 1970s by Dennis Berardi and Gary Kramer, a close friend and associate of Travis Bean, to manufacture aluminum-necked guitars. Gary Kramer, Dennis Berardi, Peter LaPlaca (a Vice President at Norlin, parent company of Gibson in 1974*), and investor Henry Vaccaro joined forces to open a plant in Neptune, New Jersey. Soon thereafter, Gary Kramer moved to Los Angeles, and his connection with the company would become in name only, long before the wooden neck era that began in the 1980’s.

  3. KRAMER TIMELINE • 1976 • Trademark pitchfork aluminum-reinforced necks – Alumi-necks • Ebonol fretboard • Schaller tuning keys and bridges • Schaller and DiMarzio pickups • Used exotic woods and hybrid wood/aluminum necks until 1982 • 1981 • Wooden Necks • Schaller tuning keys and bridges • Schaller and DiMarzio pickups

Eddie reportedly said that he would help make Kramer the "#1 guitar company in the world.“ It indeed come true, as Kramer was the #1 selling brand in the world in 1985 and 86.
