  3. Borrowing books and dvds Your ID card is library card Borrow up to 30 books at a time for 3 weeks Books are subject to recall after two weeks You can renew books if not recalled

  4. CLUES catalogue: find out what is in the libraries Course Reserves online and paper books journals and magazines dvds and streamed films

  5. MyCLUES (access with netname) Request materials Renew books • Access online library resources from off campus journals and magazines databases e-books

  6. Studying & Researching in the Library Study Spaces Webster & Vanier Libraries Grey Nuns Reading Room you can book Group Study Rooms in MyCLUES

  7. Need a computer for working • Computers Workstations throughout libraries Laptops & tablets available at Circulation Desk • Print from all computers as well as your laptops • Use ID card – Dprint Loader on main floor

  8. Getting materials from other libraries • BCI card • get from the Circulation Desk (entrance/exit of library) to borrow books from other university libraries in Montreal • InterLibrary Loans • to request books, articles, etc. from other libraries

  9. FMST 211 Assignment • Present a bibliography for an argumentative paper on the topic the reception of a film which premiered before Jan. 1, 1932 • Sources must be contemporary to the date of film • usually found in trade magazines, newspaper articles, etc.

Library Workshop – Webster Library Room LB-203 Learn about library tools you can use to find publications contemporaneous to release of the film and prepare bibliography You will have access to a computer or bring a laptop and tablet to begin work on your assignment during the workshop Sign up for one of the dates in September
