  2. Gather Supplies • Thumb Drives • One for Each Category • Black Marker • Fire and Water Proof Safe

  3. Important Document Scan and save the following documents • Birth Certificates • Death Certificates • Marriage Certificates • Social Security Cards • Driver’s License

  4. Educational Background Scan and save • Diplomas • Transcripts • Graduation Pictures

  5. Medical Data Create a list of the following • Medications • Details of hospitalizations • Past illnesses and injuries • Contact info for all doctors • Include your pets information

  6. Financial Data • Bank account numbers • Credit Card numbers • Stocks • Insurance Policies • Recent Tax Returns • Include Financial Institution Contact Information

  7. Important People Create a list of Contacts • Include Addresses and Phone Numbers • Separate list by business and personal

  8. Photos • Family Photos • Weddings • Births • Graduations • Depending on amount of photos a back up drive may need to be used

  9. Portfolio • Artists, Musicians, Writers, or Designers may need to have a portfolio stored.

  10. Passwords Keep a list of usernames and passwords with the sites they are used on.

  11. Technology • Software serial numbers and backup discs • This was new software won’t have to be purchased in the event your computer is destroyed
