  1. Competition between Normal Superfluidity and Larkin-Ovchinnikov Phases of Polarized Fermi Gases in Elongated Traps J. Pei, J. Dukelsky and WN,  arXiv:1005.3239 We study cold polarized atoms in elongated traps at unitarity. The self-consistent BdG equations of superfluid DFT are solved using the coordinate- space axial solver hfb-ax, based on B-splines, which has been demonstrated to provide precise results at large deformations. We use SLDA and ASLDA EDFs proposed by Bulgac and Forbes Initial conditions for the pairing potential at large distances: Many DFT solutions with very close energies and chemical potentials SLDA P=0.37 h=20 N=2000 LO state is a wave packet
