This report details the extensive yield trials conducted across five locations in North Carolina, incorporating around 4,500 plots, with 7,500 additional plots managed from Raleigh. The trials featured collaborations with public co-operators from various institutions and included contributions from private companies such as Syngenta and Pioneer. The program focused on advanced germplasm development, testing various breeding crosses, and the introduction of new potential sources. Notably, 11 new recommended releases are highlighted, showcasing the ongoing innovation in crop development.
