  1. Fear Correctly

  2. -It means to respect God- 1st commandment-It means to acknowledge God and what He has done- Creation, Christ’s death, gift of salvation-To have a knowing awe of Gods power- Psalm 33:8-The fear of God is knowledge- Proverbs 1:7, 111:10,9:10-That we should literally fear Him- Job 23:13-16

  3. Works Don’t Save You-Romans 3:28-30-Romans 4:5-Galatians 2:16-Galatians 3:24And there are a ton more in scripture.

  4. Faith is gift from God: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Eph 2:8-9

  5. We Start with Baby Food and Grow from There: So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds[a] and placing our faith in God. 2 You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding. Heb 6:1-3 NLT

  6. We Are To Grow IN Christ: But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and [a]recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)! 2 Peter 3:18 AMP

  7. Purpose of Our Growth?: So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God. 2 Cor 5:20 AMP

  8. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Cor 10:13 NLT

And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Rom 8:11 NLT Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? 1 Cor 3:16 NLT
