  2. Chapter 26 summary • In chapter 26 Fogg , Passpeoartout, and Fix are in the United States. • Passepartout was getting angry at Fix because of things Fix has done in the past. It doesn’t mention what, but it says Passepartout was ready to strangle Fix. • A big problem / obstacle was buffalo getting in the way of the train. It delayed the train for 3 hours, because the engineer did not rush the buffalo he knew he would have crushed them and the train would have gone off the tracks. Passepartout got really angry and didn’t know why the engineer wouldn’t just go. He didn’t like having to wait.

  3. Chapter 27 Summary • Passepartout goes up on the platform on the top of the train to get some fresh air. On his way down he sees a strange man hanging something on everybody’s train car door. He goes up to the door and reads the notice. Everybody was invited to train car #117 to listen to a man. His name was Elder William Hitch, he was going to talk about Mormon history. Everybody intermittently left. And Passepartout was the last one to leave.
