  2. Newton was born on the 4th of January 1643 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire and he was brought up by his grandparents.

  3. At Cambridge University he was particularly interested in: • Mathematics • Optics • Physics and Astronomy

  4. Isacc Newton was very much interested in Math and he came up with ideas about CALCULUS.

  5. The telescope invented in 1668, made Newton famous in the scientific community.

  6. Isacc Newton carried out a lot of experiments on light and discovered that white light is made up of the same system of colours that can be seen in a rainbow.

  7. In 1687 he published his single greatest work about gravity.Gravity applies to all objects in all parts of the universe.

  8. Newton was the president of the Royal Society from 1703 till his death.

  9. Isacc was a different man but a very important figure in British and European science.

  10. Newton was the greatest scientist of his times.
