  1. Is Algebra Useful ? Noah Al Khulaifi 8C

  2. Learner Profile ? While trying to connect the algebra and the original problems together I really had to think about how much the algebra helped , how it could be put to best use and most importantly what context it would suit . More importantly , I risked my whole project being wrong if I made a mistake with the algebraic equations . To a much smaller extent I was an inquirer in too whether it really made a difference if you used algebra for my chosen situation .

  3. Area of Success I was successful in elaborating that a larger order of cakes would use the formula much more effectively and I was also successful un explaining the reasoning in using algebra to help simplify confusing equations .

  4. Challenges I was challenged in getting my head round the original formula and how I could best show my reasoning for choosing that particular situation and its effects on the process . However , I was more challenged in finding a graphic example of my equations so I resorted to using a simple algebraic equation .

  5. Improvements I wish to improve on my explanations . I believe they can ramble on after the amount required is fulfilled . This may reduce the marks and the clearness of the explanations that teachers give out and understand .

  6. Human Ingenuity Using Algebra to help make baking ingredients for different quantities of people is connected to Human Ingenuity because you must first invent a theory to how it will work , then test it and then use it . It is inventing at its utter simplest .
