  3. Purpose • The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate my learning adventures as an Ed.S. student in the Media Instructional Technology Program at the University of West Georgia. Final Thoughts “Be true to your work, you word, and your friend.” Henry David Thoreau Over the last five semesters, I have gained valuable skills that have made me a better learner and a better educator. At one point I jokingly told a professor that I could now change the world with PowerPoint. As overstated as my claim was, I have learned many strategies and tools that I can use with students and share with colleagues as a result of my studies in the Instructional Technology program. From a personal perspective, I have done my best to produce quality work; I have remained constant in my desire and commitment to learn; I have made a number of new friends...not a bad way to spend the last two years.
