  4. Contributions to Physical Education • Standard 7 NHS • Lectured to undergraduates on health and hygiene • Standard 6 NHS Goals • Germany, London, Sweden. • Mechanotherapy

  5. Interesting Information • JHU was terrible in almost every sport while Hartwell was there including a loss to Princeton by a score of 108-0. • JHU is known today for lacrosse. • One of the most acknowledged men to advance Physical Education scientifically and medically.
