  3. Who Is Oodgeroo Noonuccal ? Oodgeroo’s English name is Kath walker but she is known as Oodgeroo. She was a poet who wrote about the rights of aboriginals and how people should be treated as equals no matter what their colour, political activist, artist and educator. She was also a campaigner for Aboriginal rights. She was born in 3rd of November, 1920, in Stradbroke Island and died in16thSeptember, 1993, Altona Meadows, Melbourne .

  4. Why is she famous ? Kath is famous because she writes about the rights of aboriginals she pointed out that the colour of the skin is on the outside and what is on the inside is more important. She also pointed out that aboriginal Australians were here first and if any one should get a small amounts of rights it should be the white.
