  2. Christmas is a great Christian feast was established in memory of the birth of the son of God, Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.Why Christmas is celebrated twice in the world? Christmas is celebrated in many countries of the world, differing only the date and calendar styles (Julian and Gregorian). People living by the Gregorian calendar, meet in the night from 24 to 25 December Christmas day. Orthodox celebrate the night of 6 to 7 January according to the Julian calendar.

  3. As to any tradition, Englishmen are very serious. The celebration of Christmas in England lasts 3 days. Christmas Eve, Christmas day and the Day of Donation (gift). A week before the holiday home is thoroughly clean, wipe to Shine window. On the door of every house - green wreath, coloured lights, garlands. The British begin to prepare for the celebration of almost a month.
