  1. Welcome to kindergarten at Terre Town! I am Sierra Lang, and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I am so excited for your child to be in my class! To share a little about myself, I am from Terre Haute. I received my undergraduate degree from Indiana State in Elementary Education and Special Education. I recently completed my masters at Indiana State in Curriculum Instruction and Media Technology. I am thrilled to be teaching kindergarten! This year will be a very fun year for all of us. Your child will be learning to read and write, and learning to play with new friends. We will also learn to listen and follow directions, and how to work cooperatively with others. Don’t forget, we will learn all that we can about numbers and shapes too! Oh, what a busy year.  I hope that our learning experiences will be special for you and your child. Please talk to me when you have something to share, when there is something you have questions about, and/or if you have any concerns.
