  4. Philippians 1:9-11 • Abounding Love (Phil. 1:9) • Unlimited because of Christ • Expressed within limits • Knowledge - vehicle is God’s Word • Discerning- Holy Spirit discerns how love operates

  5. The Christian life must be motivated and transformed by LOVE A love governed by Biblical principles and exercised with judgment

  6. Philippians 1:9-11 • Without offense (Phil 1:10) • Pure and free of obstructions (not perfect) • Open before God • Open before man • Oven Tested – “sine cera” • When held to the light (2 Cor. 4:7)

Acts of kindness and service • John 15:1 depends on Christ • Psalm 1:1-3 • Psalm 37:1-6
