  10. Basic Plan for New SKSC Fields Field #1 Trap Only Field #2 Trap & Skeet Field #3 Trap* & Skeet Field #4 Trap & Skeet* N • Field #1 is Trap-only due to safety fan limits • Fields #2 and #3 are combination Trap & Skeet • Field #3 was originally planned as Skeet-only, but we might as well plan now for a Trap house too • Field #4 is combination Trap & Skeet - however • Used primarily for Trap • Skeet #4 only used when new bunkers are clear • Trap fields are rotated to converge shot-fall • Skeet fields are oriented due-East for safety

  11. A Few Issues to Think Through. . . • Rotating the Trap fields to converge shot-fall: • Might make it confusing for shooters looking at corner range stakes (where un-broken birds land) • Which stakes for which field? • Use different colors? • May cause more interference during use, especially doubles • Make it a bit more tricky to lay-out combination Trap & Skeet fields (Trap fields are rotated, Skeet fields are not) • Field #3 (old Skeet #1) remains as-is (new houses?) • Planned addition of Trap field when needed (or do it now?) • Field #4 (old Skeet #2) • Skeet field remains as-is (new houses?) • Add new Trap field • Light poles remain as-is, but may need additional lights?

  12. Proposed Trap Fields – Un-Rotated Field #1 Trap Only Field #2 Trap & Skeet Field #3 Trap* & Skeet Field #4 Trap & Skeet* N

  13. Proposed Trap Fields – Rotated • Trap fields are aligned in a straight North-South line • Field rotation (degrees): • Field #1: +24 • Field #2: +12 • Field #3: -12 • Field #4: -24 Field #1 Trap Only Field #2 Trap & Skeet Field #3 Trap* & Skeet Field #4 Trap & Skeet* N

  14. Proposed Trap & Skeet Shot-Fall • Shot-fall area is half the size of un-rotated fields Field #1 Trap Only Field #2 Trap & Skeet Field #3 Trap* & Skeet Field #4 Trap & Skeet* N
