What is NCP Facilitation cell for EC’s Framework Programme to guide researchers/ organizations: • Information Dissemination of EU notice, call dates, themes • Partner searching/ Signposting of the interested target groups • Organization of events • Statistical data of the national participation in FP and its programmes/ subareas • Helping in writing proposals

Brief Background NCP • NCP has been established after 5 yrs from signing of S&T Agreement • DIT has nominated NCP on IST/ICT programme • NCP operates in a networked way through the IRSN –Indian Research Support Network, presently composed of 3 research organizations: CDAC(Pune), IIIT,B’lore and ISTMA • NCP is supported by IRSN in all the activities to boost collaborative Euro India research. • Assistance covers a wide range of stakeholders such as SMEs, larger organisations, higher education, universities, multinationals and research centers • Responds to the need of operating in a decentralized manner within the vast IT community of India.
