  1. Fractured Fairy Tales When an author rewrites a familiar fairy tale with a new twist, it is called a FRACTURED FAIRY TALE. Authors do this to eliminate prejudices from older tales, to revive tales by adding humor, and to exercise their creative talents. One way to rewrite a fairy tale is to tell the same story from the point-of-view of a different character. How would the story look from the antagonist’s eyes? Miss Lemke

  2. The True Story of the Three Little Pigs In the traditional story, the innocent three little pigs were threatened three times by the big, bad wolf, who threatened to, “huff and puff” and blow their house down. However, the story has a different twist when looked at from the eyes of the wolf. Read each character’s version of the story and determine who YOU believe… Miss Lemke

  3. The Wolf’s Story According to the Wolf… Miss Lemke

  4. The Pigs’ Story According to the Three Little Pigs… Miss Lemke

  5. Your Task Use Inspiration to create a visual that compares and contrasts the two versions of the Fairy Tale. Work with your group. Miss Lemke
