What is Ogg Vorbis • Ogg Vorbis is a new audio compression format • Used to store and play audio formats like MP3 • Ogg Vorbis files have the .ogg file extention
What is Ogg Vorbis • Ogg is a wrapper format, somewhat similar to MS Active Streaming form or Apple’s Quicktime • Vorbis is Codec, which means compression/decompression to save space
Advantages of Ogg Vorbis • Ogg Vorbis is an open source project • Ogg Vorbis take up less storage space
