  1. Stock PortfolioGetting Started8/16/13 • Complete Balance Sheet--$100 or less should be left in your account balance, after investing in 3 companies from different industries. Companies should be listed on either NYSE or NASDAQ and should be priced at $5 or higher. • Update Tracking Sheet with each stock’s price • Journal Entry #1: • Complete 3 profile sheets. One for each company you’ve decided to invest in.

Stock Portfolio Week #1 8/23/13All should be completed by the end of the period • Complete Weekly Activity sheet— turn in at end of class • Update tracking sheet • Write journal entry #1 (should be labeled Journal #1, 8/23/13): • How has the value of your portfolio changed since last week? Speculate as to why your stock values have changed. • Explain your decision-making for this week—are you holding? Why? Are you selling and buying? Why? If you are buying/selling, explain the rationale for buying the new stock.

  11. Stock Portfolio Week #10 10/25/13 • Liquidateyour portfolio— sell all of the stocks that are currently in your portfolio. Put the information on your balance sheet. Remember to subtract the transaction fee (-9.99), then add the total transaction to your current balance. • Update Tracking Sheet • Make graphs for each of your stocks (one graph for each stock) See pages 7 and 8 in the portfolio packet for instructions • Complete Business Reports. See page 6 in the Portfolio packet for instructions. • Write final Summary. See #9 on page 3 of instructional packet. • No weekly activity sheet or article summary/journal entry should be completed this week. • Due on Friday, 11/1/13
