IG Developing world research • Cloud computing can circumvent problems with infrastructure in the Developing World • Public data can transform Developing World Research • Finding 1 – Long term solutions require a partnership (e.g. SKA in South Africa) • Finding 2 – There is a big need for education to support the “Data revolution”. • Proposal :- set up a formal and highly rigorous qualification in Data Science that is recognised by Acdemiaand Industry.
