  7. Reliability Network Coding in delay tolerant network In delay tolerant network; realistic network environment suffers from limited bandwidth and node buffers. In such environment, we need to deliver packets with minimal delivery delay under no precise knowledge, with taking into account limited buffer length DTN- WINC- Nile University

Evolving files and caching In a cooperative environment and non cooperative • The need to send an updated version of file to N nodes to be stored; these nodes are mobiles • So we need to examine different ways in distributing files which change dynamically. “In Delay tolerant Network” • Generic Examples • File change from time to time(weather forecasting) • Backup files • Software update patches DTN- WINC- Nile University

  9. Security I am very concerned with Traffic analysis Because traffic analysis is dangerous, why? Naïve solution (L2L encryption) will introduce a huge overhead in addition to its failure if an intermediate nodes were compromised. DTN- WINC- Nile University

  10. Summary To sum up Delay tolerant network coding is a network where no continuous path exist between source and destination Delay tolerant network coding is used in extreme networks DTN- WINC- Nile University
