  1. D. Hipotesis Berdasarkan pada tinjauan pustaka dan hasil-hasil penelitian di atas, hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1. Ada hubungan yang negatif antara harga diri dengan depresi pada remaja. Semakin tinggi harga diri, maka depresi akan semakin rendah. Begitu pula semakin rendah harga diri, maka depresi akan semakin tinggi. 2. Ada perbedaan harga diri antara remaja laki-laki dan remaja perempuan. Harga diri remaja laki-laki lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan remaja perempuan. 3. Ada perbedaan depresi antara remaja laki-laki dan remaja perempuan. Remaja perempuan lebih tinggi depresinya daripada remaja laki-laki.
