  2. What is a Non-traditional Workout? • A non-traditional work out includes any type of exercise regiment that does not include your typical weights and machines. • The following equipment and software can potentially be fun and safe alternatives to traditional exercising.

  3. Equipment/ Software • P90x • TRX Training • Kettle worx • Iron Gym • Bowflex

  4. P90x • 90 day home fitness program developed by Tony Horton • Combines cardio workouts, weight training, plyometrics, yoga, and stretching • Only equipment required is a pull up bar and bands/dumbbell • Probably not for beginners • Cost-~$120 • Comes with software for guidance

  5. TRX Training • TRX training is a fast and effective total body work out • TRX equipment includes only a bar and suspension strap that can be set up anywhere • Benefits people of all fitness levels • Cost-~$95 • Comes with software for guidance

  6. Kettle Worx • 6 week body work out that includes cardio, core, resistance, fat burn, abs • Equipment: kettle bell • Benefits people of all fitness levels • Cost-$90 • Comes with software for guidance

  7. Iron Gym • Strengthens and tones the back and biceps • Portable work out bar • Can also be use for push ups and dips • Cost-~$30

  8. Bowflex • 1 machine combining over 400 different exercisers • No gym required • Uses resistance instead of weights for same results • Cost-~$900

  9. Equipment and Software • TRX training • Kettle Worx • P90x • Equipment Only • Iron Gym • Bowflex

  10. Conclusion • Each piece of equipment in software has its benefits and is unique in its own way • In my opinion, the TRX Training is the best piece of equipment for our program and our clients. It is cost effective and requires minimal equipment • The TRX Training will be a great addition to our program because it is non-traditional and works the entire body
