  2. Connectivity Convention Background TE has a long relationship with TDC, and has for several years now had the contract with TDC as sole supplier of fiber optic products. Many years of cooperation has given TE a solid knowledge of TDCs challenges and good understanding of how TDCs neverending strive for cutting OPEX can be directed to value added solutions as opposed to lowering prices. We proposed pre-stubbed 15” sub racks to TDC for several reasons among them the most important; - lower cost / termination - less space requirements - Differentiate from competion

Connectivity Convention Process TDC was involved at PM level in several meetings during the process which took approximately 2 years. 1 pilot were TDC installers worked as soundboard was carried out during the process. Another customer in the region had similar requirements, and was taken into the project.

  4. Connectivity Convention Products Sub rack FIST-GPS3-x in combination with OCLP (pre-terminated GPSTF trays) Rack FIST-GR3F-xxx-x Accessories Mounting brackets for sub racks (for front or back mounting in ETSI, 19” or 15”)

  5. Connectivity Convention Results Spin-offs Sales to projects with very confined space, and/or no room for connectors at the front.
