  16. Plan Analyze Tearin’ It Up Dirt Bikes™ is a small business that does not have that many employees. The main way that we will train our employees will be through one on one interaction and shadowing. We will have new trainees shadow more experienced employees for a week to get a feel on how the business operates. All employees will also know how to operate the database and our online presence so we do not need to rely on one sole person so that we can be as efficient as possible. There will be a user manual that is provided to newly hired people that describes in detail how Tearin’ It Up Dirt Bikes™ functions on a daily basis. The user manuals will be available to everyone to help them when a unforeseen situation occurs or when a difficult situation is at hand. We will also be using the plunge method to start our website so that we can get started immediately and get a feel for how the website will be run and managed. Plan Analyze Maintenance Design To keep our online presence functional we are going to have scans done weekly to make sure that all of the links are operating along with the login process and checkout process. The Holiday Specials link will also be kept up to date so that deals are changed when appropriate. Tentatively we plan on using the current layout of the website but we are open to comments and suggestions from customers. Travis’ primary responsibility is to manage and makes any changes necessary to the website since he is our Chief Technology Officer. We want to make sure that our website is up all the time so we can maximize our sales and to do this everything will need to be operating correctly. Development Test Implement Maintain
  19. Plan Analyze Maintenance Schedule Design May 2, 2012 Scans will start to ensure that all links operate and all kinks are sorted out. Personal Logins will be functioning and the database will be able to hold customers information. Databases will have testing done on them to make sure that they are running correctly. July 1, 2012 Weekly scans continue to make sure everything works how it should. Gather data on feedback from customers to see if there is anything in the layout of the website that needs to be changed. Deal with any customer concerns or questions when they come up.
