Situation with regards to presence of Iodine in Kosovo • Soil tests in Kosovo show the low concentration of Iodine in many Kosovo regions . • Endemic regions with Iodine deficiency are ; Decan, Peja and Gjakova ( west part of Kosova ) • Salts consumed in Kosovo are imported mainly from Montenegro , Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina , Greece , Ukraine.
