As of 01.01.2012, there are 273 telecommunication operators and services holding 434 licenses (considering that one operator may hold several licenses) implementing their activity in the market: Mobile communication – 8 operators; Local fixed communication – 42 operators; Data transmission – 65 operators; Telematic services – 75 operators; Postal services – 7 operators; Television and radio broadcast distribution – 55 licenses

  6. Mobile communication market indicators • Considering that of the total number of sold Sim-cards, on average 20% are non-activated (non-active), the average revenue per one subscriber will be : • 2009 – 259.6 Soms • 2010 – 236.6 Soms • 2011 - 223.75 Soms

  10. Conditions for privatization of “Kyrgyz Mobile Company” OJSC • Price offer for 750 common registered shares of “Kyrgyz Mobile Company” OJSC. The starting cost of 75% the government stake of “Kyrgyz Mobile Company” OJSC: 152, 500, 000 Soms; • Mandatory payment of seven per cent commission in addition to the price offered by the Purchaser for 75% shares of “Kyrgyz Mobile Company” OJSC. • The purchaser shall take commitments under the license agreement

Basic principles of the auction transparency • Participation of the maximum number of bidders in the auction (invitations will be sent out to more than 60 companies throughout world, including Kazakhstan); • Wide coverage in mass media, Internet, involvement of the public (KR Parliament members, NGO, NPO, representatives of the sector ministries and agencies, mass media, entrepreneurs); • The auction will be held live on OTRK TV channel at 3.00 p.m., August 21, 2012.
