  1. Self- Reflection/ Growth By: Katie Eshelman

  2. Streangth at the begining of the semester. - Considerate person - Hard worker - Communicator - Asking Questions - Writing essays

  3. Weakness at the beging of the semester. - Test takeing skills - Comprehension - Grammer

  4. Strengths at the end of the semester. -Becoming a better reader. -Reading more on my own not depending on the teacher. -Taking test better and understanding them more. -Not needing as much help on test. - Better with asking Q's

  5. Weakness at the end of the semester. -Grammer - Comperhension is still difficult but highlighting helps a lot.

  6. Hunger Games (Prim) I chose the Hunger Games because Katmiss acts like a mom and I act like a mom to everyone. (I act like a mom to everyone). Prim- When their dad died, their mom stopped acting like a mom so Katniss stepped up and took over the role of a mom. "I protect Prim in every way I can, But I'm powerless against the reaping. The anguish I always feel when she's in Pain wells up in my chest and threatens to register on my face." (Collins 15)

  7. Rue Rue- Katniss was reminded of Prim when she saw Rue. Katniss's motherly instinct kicked in when she saw Rue and had to team up with her. "I can't stop looking at rue, smaller than ever, a baby animal curled up in a nest of netting. I can't bring myself to leave her like this. Past harm, but seeming utterly defenseless." (Collins 236)

  8. Outsiders ( Most Challange) - The essay was challanging because it was a lot of time management and you had to look up sayings in the book. - I had to do note cards and I thought they were difficult.

  9. Persuasive letter to Governor Tom Corbett We wrote a letter to the Governor to change the school day times and when we would go to school. - I will always remember the letter because I want to change when we go to school. - I have always dreamed to go to school at night time and then I would be able to sleep during the day. - This had to be one of my favorites because I can actually get my point across.
