Examples - Tax MULTIPLE AND NUISANCE LGA COLLECTIONS • Harmonised laws for taxes, levies, fees and charges • Improved assessment and collection processes • Successful MSMEs and broader tax base • GEMS3 works with LGAs and the Bureau of Internal Revenue in Cross River and Kaduna to harmonise taxes and disseminate information to taxpayers
Example - Land • Systematic registrations and records access • Improved access to property rights • More productive investment in and use of land PROPERTY RIGHTS • GEMS3 works with the Presidential Technical Committee on Land Reforms and the Governments of Kano and Ondo States to support systematic land registration
