This song starts out with a very nice, soft guitar. Swift’s voice has a very soft tone and nice texture through the song. The melody stays very consistent throughout the song. I also think this song carries a nice message about forgiveness and caring for others. Listening guide to “back to december”
This song has more of an upbeat tone to it, while still remaining soft in harmony and texture. The dynamics of the song change at the beginning of Verse 2. The song seems to become louder in tone and quicker in rhythm. Listening guide to “Love Story”
