  3. 1.-DEFINICIÓN Y LOCALIZACIÓN • Es un tipo de ascomiceto (hongo) que esta presente en paises de América como brasil, ecuador, y mexico. • Probablemente ha sido importada de Norteamerica.

  4. 2.-PROPAGACIÓN Y DAÑOS • Produce una enfermedad muy conocida llamada oidio de roble. Se desarrolla en robles adultos y jovenes pero es sobre estos donde los daños son mayores. Cuando la enfermedad persiste varios años seguidos puede producir la muerte de los robles afectados. Los organos afectados se decoloran, se secan, y se mueren rapidamente.Los brotes afectados no alcazan su madurez y se hielan con las primeras heladas de otoño.

  5. 3.-TRATAMIENTOS El control aparte de una sustitucion Q.robur por Q.petrea que es mas resistente, puede ser tratar la planta con azufre coloidal o mojable.
