Protecting Our Rainforests: Understanding Their Impact on Our World

Rainforests, especially the Brazilian Amazon, are magnificent yet threatened ecosystems. They once covered 14% of Earth's land but now only make up 6%. Deforestation destroys not only trees but also 137 species daily, impacting biodiversity and climate. Companies, including those producing household goods and food items, often use palm oil linked to rainforest destruction. As consumers, our choices matter. By recognizing products that contribute to this issue, we can actively protect rainforests for future generations.
