Training Update • Upcoming Classes: • Verilog Introduction, August 7 & 8, 2006 • Advanced 2001 Verilog Coding Styles, August 9 - 11, 2006 • Java: Intro, Sept. 11 - 15, 2006 • Advanced Perl Programming, Sept. 20 - 22, 2006 • Advanced Python Programming, Oct. 17 & 18, 2006 • Open Office????? • Enrollment for those classes is available through the Office for Professional and Organization Development's website at http://lss.fnal.gov/train-dev/index.html CD/CSS/CSI Fermi National Accelerator Lab

  5. Central Inventory Tools • All Lab-owned systems must participate in approved central supported inventory service (per baselines) • SMS for Windows. • Vintella client for OSX • Testing. Looking for volunteers • No Intel client at this time. • OCSInventory for linux systems • Registered System Admins responsible for client install! CD/CSS/CSI Fermi National Accelerator Lab

  6. Central Inventory Tools • Hercules Update • We have the code! • Runs w2003 and SQL. Systems ordered. • Don't know what the schema DOE wants is yet. • Working with Argonne. Start in July? • Microsoft working with us. • SLF using OCSInventory NG. Working with database group to upload data to SQL. CD/CSS/CSI Fermi National Accelerator Lab
