Home Study Not all course need to be attended in person. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for one has a number of course that can be taken on-line or through home study programs.
A good place to start… • Check the FEMA website • Contact your local state emergency management office- they often sponsor courses that are free • The American Red Cross often holds disaster and other course training • Sometimes an internet search will bring up other classes and training opportunities in your area.
Documentation Remember to keep records and documentation of your training.
