Jacob became very angry against his sons as he was afraid of the reactions of other nations.

  16. Chapter 38 - Judah • Er dies after marrying Tamar • Onan is then married to Tamar and also dies • Tamar tricks Judah, becomes pregnant • Judah overreacts until he realises his sin • Tamar gives birth to Perez and Zero – Perez will carry on the line until David and eventually, Jesus
