  1. PRINTING CUM LABELS ON PLAIN PAPER USING A CLASS EXTRACT (MR22P,2) Type CL51 to view the master schedule. Press <enter> to go onto the next page. Note: We must have the 4 digit roster number to run a class extract. Have your SIS coordinator run a CL17 using <F2> option for the PE department (#33) to get the roster numbers for all your athletic teams or continue to follow these instructions. Select <F1> for the current year Note: This page will only occur in the spring time after your SIS coordinator has run ADDYEAR around April.

  2. Select <F1> or <F2> for the appropriate semester for the class you are attempting to find the 4 digit roster number. Press <enter> twice to go onto the next page

  3. Select <F7>, then <F1>, then type the teacher’s last name, then <enter> to get to the appropriate teacher’s schedule. Copy down the 4 digit code for the class roster you are interested in. Note: In this example we are going to print the cum labels (grades) for the off season soccer team whose coach is Ramirez, H. Note the 4 digit roster code for the period 6 class (7886) Note: Fall courses are usually roster numbers 1000-4999 and spring is usually 5000-9999. Press <esc> to get back to the main SIS menu. Type MR22P,2 to start the program to print cum labels by a class extract. Press <enter> to go onto the next page Note: MR22 is the program to print cum labels on labels. MR22P prints the same cum labels, but spaces them correctly so that they fit on plain paper. The ,2 part indicates that this will be an extract from the class rosters.

  4. Select <F1> for this year. Select <F1> or <F2> for the appropriate semester. In this example we will use <F2>. Select <F10> to proceed. Note: Year round schools will have many more choices here. Use the function keys to toggle off the mesters you are not interested in.

  5. Select <F2> to go onto the next page Type 4 to get all “active”, “inactive”, and “left on date” students. Press <enter> to accept the day’s date and to go onto the next page.

  6. This is where it can get confusing or exciting. You will have choices to select only males or females in the class, or a grade level or a range of grade levels, or your regular or magnet school. In this example, and most cases you will bypass all those choices. Select <F2> 5 times and select N when the question at the bottom of the screen pops up. Type in the 4 digit class code twice. When each class is entered, there will be a running total at the bottom indicating the number of classes selected. Note: Classes selected should be equal to the number of 4 digit codes typed in. If you get 100’s of classes selected, you made an error. Press <esc> to start over. Press <enter> to go onto the next page. Select <F1> or <F2> for the appropriate semester. In this example we will select <F2>.

  7. Select <F10> to proceed to the next page. Note: Year round schools will have many more choices here. Discuss with your SIS coordinator which selections should be toggled off. It doesn’t matter if all of them are highlighted “yes”. Select <F1> or <F2>. Type N. Note: If you type Y at any other time during the year except at the end of the student’s semester, the grades will not print. The printout will start immediately. The first four students cum label will appear and stop printing for you to make sure that the paper is aligned correctly. N Names delete for confidentiality

  8. Select <F10> to proceed if the paper is correctly positioned. The printout will continue. Note: If you selected to printout with more than one class at a time, there will be no page break between classes. If you want the report to go to different coaches, it’s best to run through this procedure as many times as needed.
