  2. What is an emergency? Emergency: A situation that requires quick attention or action (someone needs help fast) is called an emergency. For example if there is a bad car accident or a fire. Life threatening emergency: An emergency is when someone’s life is in danger. For example if some has a heart attack. Non-life threatening emergency: An emergency is when someone’s life is not in danger. But, you cannot wait long without help. For example if someone has a broken bone.
