  2. We arrived in the Netherlands at 1st November 2009… … and after our arriving we was accomodated in a hotel “Kop van Zuid”

  5. Four days a week we visited Scheper Ziekenhuis

  6. We visited the following departments: • Admission department • Polyclinic • Functional diagnostic • Radiology • Angiographia • CCU • Clinical wards • Office of general practitioners • Surgical department • Clinic for patients with mental disorders.

  7. Neurology • 72 patients in polyclinic • 56 patients in hospital wards • 6 patients in admission department • 3 neurosurgery operations • 27 CT scans, 7 MRI scans • 63 neurophysiology examinations - EMG - Duplex carotis - EEG and other

  8. Cardiology • 43 patients in polyclinic • 42 patients in hospital wards • 45 patients in EHH department • 8 patients in GP office and 2 patients at home • 9 angiographes with PCI • 3 implantations of permanent pacemacers • 2 electrical cardioversions • 1 cardiopulmonal reanimation • 2 IABP • 27 cardiophysiology examinations - bicycle tests - TTE, TEE

  9. In Scheper Ziekenhuis we were impressed by: • Modernest equipment • High skills of medical staff • Friendly hospital personnel • Equal opportunities for all patients • Futuristic interiors • Direct access to Internet in Ziekenhuis hall • High level of computerisation

In Scheper Ziekenhuis we were surprised by: • Direct access of family members in outwear clothings to patients (especially in ICU) • Unisex wards • Computer medical archives of all patients since 80`s • That all doctors are equal – no chiefdoctors • Automatic laundry in Ziekenhuis • Multispecialisation of SZE doctors • Rehabilitation center in “Kop van Zuid” • Obligate payment for all personnel for a hospital parking

  16. Sinterklaas Day • We took a part in Sinterklaas day in New Amsterdam and Amsterdam.

  17. China Festival of Lights • We hope to be stunned by fire perfomance

We want to say great thanks to: • Administration of Mytishchy and Emmen • Management of Scheper Ziekenhuis, Mytishchy Hospital and Erisman clinic in Mytishchy • The Members of DEMMA Foundation and their families • Doctors, nurses, laboratory assistants of SZE • All other personnel, that made our work and stay in Holland comfortable
