SIRS(Social Issues Research Series) • The SIRS database contains SIRS Researcher, SIRS Government Reporter, and SIRS Renaissance. • Note: Database are only available to Clarendon College students, off campus students must contact library staff for the Customer ID and the Password. • From the CC Library homepage click on “SIRS”

3. SIRS • This is the SIRS homepage. Click Educator’s Resources located at the top of the screen for tutorials and useful information about each database. • There are many way to search within SIRS. • You can search for the homepage or follow the instructions that follow. • Clicking Topic Browse tab located at the top will bring you to the next screen.

4. SIRS • To find literary criticisms, click Literature located under SIRS Renaissance. Then click on Literature. • There will be • many Articles, • Newspapers, • Magazines, and • Reference • resources to use • for you research.

5. SIRS • Go back to the homepage and Click on Quick Search Tab. • Perhaps you’re looking for literary criticism on Ambrose Bierce. • Type his name in the search box then click “Search.”Key words are not case-sensitive. Be sure to click on Keyword.

6. SIRS • There will be many Articles, Newspapers, Magazines, and Reference resources to use for you research. You can click on the title or the icon by the title to open article.

7. SIRS • SIRS offers many features you can use. • Print, e-mail, Translate, skip to the citation and summary. Some articles may have a listen option.

8. SIRS • Sirs is very user friend in that is has the Citation, Summary, Related Articles, and more at the bottom of every article.
