  2. What Services? • Peer Tutoring • Supplemental Instruction • Academic Coaching • Writing Center

  3. Peer Tutoring • 400+ courses • 30 minute to 2 hour appointments • Tutors must have had a B+ or higher in course and 3.0 cumulative GPA

  4. Supplemental Instruction • Weekly review sessions for hard courses • SI leader teaches what to study and how

  5. Academic Writing Center • In 149 McMicken Hall • Offers one on one writing help • Given by undergrads with writing expertise

  6. Academic Coaching Meetings to address student difficulties and improve study skills and habits including: • Time management • Effective note-taking and memorization techniques • Motivation • Clarifying career goals • Test anxiety • Effective resource utilization
